Shared Reading
May 01, 2024 7:30 pm

It's not a book club, it's a reading experience that can help people connect on a deep level.

By talking through the characters or situations in stories, people are more freely able to speak their mind or tell their stories. This leads to genuine friendships that change how people see themselves and the community they live in. Each session humour, wisdom and compassion are shared. The technical term for this is social bibliotherapy, and it transforms lives.

Our groups are led by a special group of trained, skilled, passionate volunteers. They run groups weekly in retirement villages and community spaces across the Mountains.
